Last Looks
RLJE Films has acquired North American rights to the Charlie Hunnam and Mel Gibson-led action-comedy “Last Looks” based on Howard Michael Gould’s L.A. detective novel series about the character of Charlie Waldo.

Morena Baccarin, Rupert Friend, Dominic Monaghan, Lucy Fry and Cliff ‘Method Man’ Smith also star in the Tim Kirkby-directed film about an ex-LAPD superstar who left the force and now lives deep in the woods until an eccentric drunk actor whose wife has been murdered lures Waldo out of retirement to investigate. Morbius
Exhibitor CineMark has confirmed Sony’s upcoming Marvel adaptation “Morbius” clocks in at a runtime of 108 minutes – twenty minutes longer than the “Venom” sequel and around half an hour shorter than the original “Venom”. The Jared Leto-led vampire film is set to be released exclusively in cinemas on January 28th 2022. [Source: Collider]

Discs
A couple of key home video dates have been announced. Sony’s “Ghostbusters: Afterlife” will be coming to digital on January 4th and will be followed by a Blu-ray and 4K UHD release on February 1st. The latter will include a deleted scene and multiple featurettes.

Meanwhile Edgar Wright’s period psychological thriller “Last Night in Soho” has locked in a January 4th digital and a January 14th Blu-ray and 4K UHD release. That will have deleted scenes, a ‘Downtown’ music video, various pieces of test footage, animatics, and a handful of featurettes.

Killing Eve
A new teaser for the fourth and final season of “Killing Eve” has been released. The eight-episode run suggests time is running out for Sandra Oh’s Eve and Jodie Comer’s Villanelle. The final run commences on BBC America on February 27th 2022.
