Disney’s live-action “Lilo & Stitch” film will reportedly arrive on Disney+ on September 3rd. The arrival on the streamer comes 124 days after the film opened theatrically on May 23rd. The film is the highest-grossing title of the year currently with $1.025 billion. [Source: Deadline]

Hamilton
Lin-Manuel Miranda has confirmed that the live film recording of his Tony Award-winning stage musical “Hamilton” will come to cinemas on September 5th as part of celebrations for the play’s 10th anniversary which is this week.

Shot in 2016, the film debuted on Disney+ in July 2020 with most of the original cast involved and cost $75 million for Disney to acquire. It won two Primetime Emmys. [Source: The Tonight Show]

Clayface
Max Minghella (“The Handmaid’s Tale,” “The Social Network”) is being eyed for a key role in the James Watkins-directed film adaptation of the DC Comics Batman villain “Clayface”. Tom Rhys Harries plays the title role in the film which aims to open September 11th 2026.

Minghella is being sought for John, “a detective and fiancé to Caitlin Bates, who’s suspicious of his fiancée’s relationship with Matt Hagen/Clayface”. Naomi Ackie has reportedly been offered the role of Caitlin. Mike Flanagan penned the script. [Source: Nexus Point News]

Starfield
A Spring 2026 release is reportedly being targeted for the still unannounced PS5 version of Bethesda’s sci-fi RPG “Starfield”. The release is being timed with the game’s second expansion which will include quality of life updates.

The site adds that “weak” sales of the first expansion, “Shattered Space,” meant the title won’t launch on other consoles until the next DLC arrives. The outlet expects the PS5 version to be announced at Gamescom this month. [Source: MP1st]
