Jennifer Garner has signed on to star in body switch comedy “Family Leave,” based on the book “Bedtime For Mommy” by Amy Krouse Rosenthal, for Netflix.

The film will follow the Brenners who wake up to a full family body switch and quickly realize the same thing has happened to a family on the other side of the world; they must unite with this group of strangers and determine how to undo it. [Source: THR]

The Twinkle Brothers
Oscar and Pulitzer Prize-winning writer John Patrick Shanley (“Doubt,” “Wild Mountain Thyme”) will write and direct the upcoming comedy The Twinkle Brothers at Rivulet Films. Casting is underway with filming to begin in New York this fall.

The story deals with Freddie and Miguel, two insanely competitive brothers from Puerto Rico who come to New York and end up with competing restaurants directly across the street from one another. [Source: Variety]

Mr. Thisforthat
Thomas Mendolia will direct a feature film adaptation of his own horror short film “Mr. Thisforthat” for Stars Collective. Michael Karr will pen the script while Peter Luo, Craig Flores and Alexandre Aja (“Crawl”) produce.

Infinite Storm
Sophie Okonedo, Billy Howle, Denis O’Hare and Parker Sawyers will join Naomi Watts in Malgorzata Szumowska’s survival thriller “Infinite Storm”. Filming begins early next week in Europe.

The true story tale follows a mother, nurse and mountain guide, who was on a solitary trek up Mount Washington when she got caught in a blizzard, leading to a daring rescue of a stranger (Howle) as both nightfall and a storm closes in. [Source: Deadline]

True Story
Tawny Newsome, Will Catlett, Paul Adelstein, Ash Santos, Lauren London, John Ales, Chris Diamantopoulos and Billy Zane are all joining the Kevin Hart and Wesley Snipes-led limited drama series “True Story” for Netflix.

Hart will play a world-famous comedian and movie star who returns to his hometown to visit his wayward older brother Carlton (Snipes). One eventful evening turns into a matter of life or death for both. [Source: Variety]
