Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery
Rian Johnson’s “Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery,” the third installment in the murder mystery series, will open the 69th BFI London Film Festival at Southbank Centre’s Royal Festival Hall on October 8th.

Daniel Craig, Josh O’Connor, Glenn Close, Josh Brolin, Mila Kunis, Jeremy Renner, Kerry Washington, Andrew Scott, Cailee Spaeny, Daryl McCormack and Thomas Haden Church co-star in the film. [Source: THR]

Trainwreck: Poop Cruise
Netflix’s “Trainwreck: Poop Cruise” documentary film has managed to score #1 = on Netflix’s Top 10 chart this week, beating out the launch of the higher profile “The Old Guard 2” which debuted in #2.

The film tackles the infamous 2013 Carnival cruise in the Caribbean, where a fire knocked out power, leaving 4,000 passengers stranded at sea without electricity or plumbing. You can guess the rest of the story. [Source: Matt Belloni]

S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl
GSC Game World has revealed that “S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl” is coming to PlayStation 5 later this year, the port will add PS5 DualSense functionality, as well as PS5 Pro enhancements.

The game launched in November last year on PC and Xbox and suffered from widespread performance issues. Multiple patches have since been released to fix the game. [Source: ]

The Morning Show
Apple has premiered a teaser trailer for the fourth season of its Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon-led series “The Morning Show” which returns September 17th with weekly releases through November 19th.

The fourth season will time jump nearly two years after the events of season three to spring 2024 and the UBA-NBN merger is complete. The newsroom “must grapple with newfound responsibility, hidden motives and the elusive nature of truth in a polarized America.”
