The Killer
David Fincher’s new noir-tinged psychological thriller feature “The Killer,” starring Michael Fassbender as an assassin, will reportedly kick off its final leg of filming in Chicago this Friday.

This follows shoots in New Orleans, Paris, and the Dominican Republic. After around three weeks of shooting in the Windy City, Fincher will then travel to Los Angeles for some additional filming without the movie’s key cast. [Source: Screen Mag]

Woman On Fire
Sharon Stone has optioned the rights to Lisa Barr’s novel “Woman on Fire” with plans to produce and star in a film adaptation.

The story follows a savvy young journalist who gets embroiled in a major international scandal involving a Nazi-looted artistic masterpiece. She must figure out the line between the pursuit of justice and the hunt for revenge. [Source: Deadline]

Stonehouse
ITV has commissioned the three-part real-life drama “Stonehouse from “A Very English Scandal” writer John Preston and helmed by Jon S. Baird. Former “Spooks” stars Matthew Macfadyen and Keeley Hawes will co-star.

The story follows the life and times of disgraced Labour politician John Stonehouse, a high-flying British minister who vanished from the beach of a large luxury hotel in Florida in 1974 – intent on faking his own death. [Source: Variety]

Fashionista
Addison Rae is set to lead “Fashionista” at Paramount Players. No director is attached at this time and plot specifics are under wraps. Laura Terruso wrote the script based off a draft by Amy Andelson & Emily Meyer. Jennifer Gibgot and Andrew Panay are producing. [Source: Deadline]
