Judas and the Black Messiah
Warner Bros. Pictures has rescheduled the highly-anticipated historical biopic “Judas and the Black Messiah” for a February 17th 2021 release.
The film was initially scheduled for August this year but was postponed because of the pandemic. The film is landing simultaneously on the company’s streaming service HBO Max and in theatres. [Source: Variety]
The Survivalist
Jonathan Rhys Meyers and John Malkovich are set to star in the Jon Keeyes-helmed pandemic thriller “The Survivalist” at Yale Productions. Matthew Rogers penned the script.
Set eighteen months after the fall of civilization from a virus outbreak, a former FBI agent (Rhys Meyers) is forced to protect an immune young woman from a dangerous gang hunting her led by a psychopath who believes he’s going to use her to save the world (Malkovich). [Source: Deadline]
Batman: Soul of the Dragon
Warner Bros. Home Entertainment has released the first clip from the R-rated animated feature “Batman: Soul of the Dragon” with David Giuntoli voicing Bruce Wayne/Batman. The film hits digital January 12th and disc on January 26th.
Set in the 1970s and faced with a deadly menace from his past along with his mentor O-Sensei (James Hong), Bruce Wayne must enlist the help of three former classmates – world-renowned martial artists Richard Dragon, Ben Turner, and Lady Shiva – to battle the monsters of this world and beyond.
The Witcher
Netflix has released a page from the season premiere script for the second season of their fantasy adventure series “The Witcher”. The new run will begin with a monster attack and Henry Cavill’s Geralt of Rivia voicing over.
