Greenland
The Gerard Butler-led action film “Greenland” has been pushed back from August 14th to a September 25th release, as the same time the film will open overseas first with European releases kicking off this coming week.
In the film a family fights for survival as a planet-killing comet races to Earth. They make a perilous journey to their only hope for sanctuary. Duncanville
Emmy Raver-Lampman (“The Umbrella Academy”) will replace Kristen Bell in the voice role of Molly in the animated comedy “Central Park”. Bell departed the role in June in an effort to seek proper representation in casting the part. The creators are currently working together to find a different role for Bell. [Source: Deadline]
Night Teeth
Alexander Ludwig (“Bad Boys for Life,” “Vikings”) has signed on for Netflix thriller feature “Night Teeth” which Adam Randall will direct. Bryan Batt (“Mad Men”) and Marlene Forte (“Knives Out”) co-star and join the previously announced Jorge Lendeborg Jr., Debby Ryan, Lucy Fry, Alfie Allen, and Raul Castillo.
Brent Dillon wrote the screenplay which is about a young chauffeur (Lendeborg Jr.) who picks up two mysterious women for a night of party-hopping across LA. But when his passengers reveal their true nature – and a dangerous underworld lurking in the shadows – he must fight to stay alive. [Source: Deadline]
Vikings
As part of the show’s panel during Comic-Con@Home, a new clip has been released from the second half of the final season of History’s “Vikings”. The final episodes will air later this year.
The Vikings travel to never-before-seen locations thousands of miles from Kattegat, meeting vicious rivals worthy of their strategic combat and finally facing the consequences of Ragnar’s death while the Seer’s visions come to fruition.
Infinity Train
The trailer has been released for the third season of HBO Max’s animated series “Infinity Train” which kicks off this Summer. In the new season, Grace and Simon are the leaders of the Apex – an anarchic group of kids on a mysterious train. During one of their destructive missions, Grace and Simon get separated from the rest of the Apex and must find their way back. The new season kicks off on August 13th.
