Gotham Knights
Warner Bros. Games and DC have revealed the official artwork for “Gotham Knights,” a spiritual successor to Rocksteady’s “Batman: Arkham” games.
Batgirl, Nightwing, Red Hood, and Robin take on the Court of Owls in the title which hails from WB Games Montreal. The game will hit in 2022 with a preview expected at DC Fandome next month. [Source: Twitter]
The Green Knight
The dark Arthurian epic “The Green Knight” has finally set a UK release after being pulled off the country’s release schedule in July. A compromise between A24 and regional distributor Entertainment Film Distributors has been reached with a theatrical run and a same-day streaming release on Amazon Prime on September 28th. American Rust
Showtime has released the first episode for free on YouTube of its new drama series “American Rust”. The release comes ahead of the premiere on September 12th.
Based on the Philipp Meyer novel, the series stars Jeff Daniels as the police chief of a small Pennsylvania Rust Belt town, struggling to keep his community together. Maura Tierney co-stars. [Source: YouTube]
Dawson’s Creek
Netflix has returned Paula Cole’s original “I Don’t Want to Wait” theme song to the front of every episode of all six seasons of “Dawson’s Creek” on the service thanks to a new deal.
Sony only purchased the on-air rights to the track which meant it had not been featured on streaming and DVD versions of the TV series for years. The restored version was re-recorded and re-mastered by Cole to get it back in circulation. [Source: Twitter]
One Piece
Netflix has released the logo art and the first episode title for the upcoming live-action adaptation of the highly popular manga and anime series “One Piece”. The first episode will be titled “Romance Dawn” and hails from writers Matt Owens and Steven Maeda who also serve as showrunners. Cast, directors and release date remain unknown. [Source: Twitter]
