Flatbush Misdemeanors
Showtime has cancelled its comedy “Flatbush Misdemeanors,” opting not to move forward with a third season just a few weeks after the second season finale aired.

Julia
Rachel Bloom (“Crazy Ex-Girlfriend”) has joined the cast of the second season of “Julia” at HBO Max. The show is inspired by the life of Julia Child and her long-running cooking show “The French Chef”. Bloom will appear in a recurring role as Elaine Levitch, a “dynamo” who comes to WGBH by way of CBS to work with Julia”. [Source: Variety]

Project Artemis
Oscar winner Jim Rash (“Bros,” “Community”) has signed on to star alongside Scarlett Johansson and Channing Tatum in the Greg Berlanti-directed “Project Artemis” at Apple.

The story will be set against the space race of the 1960s. Rash plays a fashionable, chic commercial director who is incredibly opinionated and known for constantly going over budget on set. [Source: Deadline]

Hocus Pocus 2
Disney+ has released the first clip from the long-awaited horror-comedy sequel “Hocus Pocus” which sees the return of Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Kathy Najimy as the Sanderson sisters.

Set to premiere on September 30th, the horror-comedy sequel sees someone light the Black Flame Candle and resurrect the 17th-century sisters who are out looking for revenge.
