“Aquaman” star Jason Momoa has confirmed he’ll be playing a villain in the upcoming tenth “Fast and Furious” feature. He tells ET Online that “I get to be the bad boy. A very flamboyant bad boy. R.I.P. Alan Ladd Jr.
Veteran film producer Alan Ladd Jr. has died at home at the age of 84. An influential executive for Fox and MGM/United Artists, he famously commissioned George Lucas to write “Star Wars” as his films earned more than fifty Oscars.

He was involved in many influential titles including “Alien,” “Blade Runner,” “The Omen,” “All That Jazz,” “Chariots of Fire,” “The Rocky Horror Picture Show,” “Braveheart,” “Kagemusha,” “The Right Stuff,” “Thelma & Louise,” “Spaceballs,” “A Fish Called Wanda,” “Willow,” “Moonstruck,” “Young Frankenstein,” “The Man in the Iron Mask,” and “Gone Baby Gone”. Untitled Houdini Project
“Transformers” producers Lorenzo Di Bonaventura and Mark Vahradian are teaming for a film about iconic escape artist and illusionist Harry Houdini at Paramount Pictures.

The untitled development project will be set in the early 20th Century and sport a “Sherlock Holmes” tone. Neil Widener and Gavin James penned the script. [Source: Deadline]

Sonic The Hedgehog 2
Timed with the arrival of “The Batman” in cinemas this weekend, Paramount Pictures has released a new commercial for the “Sonic the Hedgehog” sequel that makes fun of promos for the latest tale of the caped crusader.

The clip also shows off some of the scenes that pay homage to the beloved “Sonic The Hedgehog 2” video game. The movie opens in cinemas on April 8th.

Universal Pictures has released a new poster for Jordan Peele’s newest thriller “Nope” starring Daniel Kaluuya, Keke Palmer, Steven Yeun, Michael Wincott and Brandon Perea. “Nope” is set to hit cinemas on July 22nd.
