Falling for Christmas
Netflix has set a November 10th premiere date for “Falling for Christmas,” its new holiday-themed feature that marks something of a return to acting for its star Lindsay Lohan.
Former “Glee” alum Chord Overstreet co-stars in the film in which a newly engaged heiress experiences amnesia after a skiing accident and finds herself in the care of the handsome lodge owner and his daughter. [Source: Twitter]

Focus Features has picked up the Willem Dafoe-led psychological thriller “Inside” and set a North American theatrical release date of March 10th 2023. Universal International will distribute overseas.
Vasilis Katsoupis directs the film about Nemo, an art thief trapped in a New York penthouse after his heist doesn’t go as planned. Locked inside with nothing but priceless works of art, he must use all his cunning and invention to survive. Ben Hopkins wrote the screenplay. [Source: Deadline]

Netflix’s second annual TUDUM event saw a big rise in attention from its 2021 inaugural edition. The streamer reportedly saw a 63% increase compared to last year’s event, seeing the total number of views rise from 25.7 million to 41.8 million.
The streaming platform also saw a 36.7% increase in views across its shows, trailers, and asset debuts, with a total of 950.7 million views compared to last year’s 695 million. The event also trended in the global Twitter Top 10 for nearly ten hours. [Source: Collider]
The Iron Claw
“Mindhunter” alum Holt McCallany will play Fritz Von Erich, the patriarch of the famed Von Erich wrestling family, in Sean Durkin’s new film “The Iron Claw” at A24 and Access Industries.
The story charts the rise and fall of the family dynasty of wrestlers who made a huge impact on the sport from the 1960s to the present day. Zac Efron, Harris Dickinson and Jeremy Allen White co-star. [Source: Deadline]
Firefly Lane
The Katherine Heigl and Sarah Chalke-led drama series “Firefly Lane” will end with an upcoming supersized second season. The first nine episodes will air on December 2nd and the remaining seven episodes will premiere in 2023.
