Killing Eve
BBC America’s “Killing Eve” has postponed production as the show’s complicated European filming schedule has been decimated by the coronavirus. The original plan was to begin shooting in August, but those plans are gone and a restart date isn’t set as yet. [Source: Deadline]

Talent Show
Oscar nominee Cynthia Erivo (“Harriet,” “Widows”) is set to star in the Gandja Monteiro-directed drama “Talent Show” at Universal Pictures and State Street Pictures. Emmy winner Lena Waithe penned the latest version of the script, taking over from Aimee Lagos, and will serve as executive producer.

Based on an idea from Duane Adler (“Save the Last Dance”), the story follows a failed songwriter who returns home to Chicago to lead a group of at-risk youth in their annual talent show. George Tillman Jr. and Robert Teitel are producing. [Source: Deadline]

Outer Banks
Netflix has renewed young adult series “Outer Banks” for a second season. Chase Stokes, Madelyn Cline, Madison Bailey and Jonathan Daviss lead the cast of the series about a group of teens living in a beach town of the Outer Banks in North Carolina where a socioeconomic divide gets political. The first season premiered on April 15th. Jonas Pate, Josh Pate, and Shannon Burke will return as showrunners and executive producers. [Source: Variety]

Playa Negra
Gaumont and producer Grupo Ganga on the young adult dark surf drama “Playa Negra” starring Miguel Bernardeau. The eight-part one-hour scripted drama will be shot on location in the Canary Islands.

Set in a fishing village on Lanzarote, Bernardeau plays a young man attempting to get close to the man he suspects is his father. In the process, he befriends a tight-knit group of teens who dream of making it big in the local competitive surfing scene, and together become unwittingly embroiled in the island’s darkest secrets. Ben 10 vs. the Universe
Cartoon Network has released the trailer for “Ben 10 Vs. The Universe: The Movie” which will debut this Fall. The story will center on a blast from Ben’s past returning to do double the damage to Team Tennyson and planet Earth. This forces Ben to go interstellar to save the day. Meanwhile, Gwen and Grandpa Max team up to help protect the world while Ben is away. But when our hero is confused for the villain in space, he must figure out how to get back to Earth to help save it.
