House of the Dragon
Filming has officially wrapped on the third season of HBO’s “Game of Thrones” spin-off “House of the Dragon”. Matt Smith, Emma D’Arcy and Olivia Cooke began work on the new run just over six months ago in the UK.
The season will now undergo post-production and editing for a Summer 2026 release with the plan being to air just after the Emmy eligibility window closure on May 31st – suggesting a June premiere. [Source: Redanian Intelligence]
The Beatles
“Shogun” star Anna Sawai and “The White Lotus” actress Aimee Lou Wood are circling the roles of Yoko Ono and Pattie Boyd respectively in the upcoming four-part “The Beatles” biopics by director Sam Mendes. The deals for Sawai and Wood are not signed.
They’ll join Harrison Dickinson as John Lennon, Paul Mescal as Paul McCartney, Joseph Quinn as George Harrison, Barry Keoghan as Ringo Star, Saoirse Ronan as Linda McCartney and Mia McKenna-Bruce as Maureen Starkey. All four films are slated for an April 2028 release. [Source: Variety]
Adventure Time: Fionna and Cake
HBO Max has premiered the new trailer for the second season of “Adventure Time: Fionna and Cake”. New episodes drop weekly from October 23rd- December 25th.
Returning cast includes Maria Bamford, Matthew Broderick, Andy Daly, Grey DeLisle, Marc Maron, Jinkx Monsoon, Vico Ortiz, Chelsea Peretti, Kumail Nanjiani while Ashley Burch and Harvey Guillén will replace Jenny Slate and Andrew Rannells respectively.
Jurassic World: Chaos Theory
Netflix has released the official trailer for the fourth and final season of DreamWorks Animation’s “Jurassic World: Chaos Theory” which returns November 20th with the final nine episodes. The Nublar Six have one last adventure, as they find themselves facing the hidden dangers within the Biosyn Valley.
