Downton Abbey
The first behind-the-scenes photo has been released from the “Downton Abbey” movie sequel which began production at least a month ago ahead of a release this Christmas.

Kevin Doyle’s Joseph Molesley and Rob James-Collier’s Thomas Barrow can be seen in the shot from the film which will see the full cast coming back together alongside new to the franchise stars like Nathalie Baye, Hugh Dancy, Laura Haddock, and Dominic West. [Source: Twitter]

Demon Slayer: Mugen Train
Record-breaking anime film “Demon Slayer: Mugen Train” will be available on Funimation starting June 22nd in the United States, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand regions. Both subtitled and English dub formats will be available. [Source: Funimation]

Dollhouse
Emma Tammi (“The Wind”) has been set to direct the psychological thriller “Dollhouse” at STXfilms. Selena Gomez is producing and potentially starring in the film penned by Michael Paisley. The story is set in the world of the upper echelon of New York City’s fashion scene. Shawn Levy and Dan Cohen produce. [Source: Deadline]

The Deer King
Indie distributor GKIDS has acquired the North American rights for Masashi Ando and Masayuki Miyaji’s animated feature “The Deer King” from Production I.G (“Ghost in the Shell”). GKIDS will theatrically release the film subtitled in its original Japanese language, as well as a new English dub version, in North America in early 2022. [Source: THR]

James Cameron
MasterClass, the online streaming platform with video lessons from famous people in various fields, has announced that “Aliens,” “Terminator 2,” “Titanic” and “Avatar” director James Cameron has joined the line-up with his classes now up at Masterclass.com.

Cameron’s class features fifteen video lessons with videos that come in at a little over three hours and offers insight into Cameron’s process with filmmaking. He joins the likes of Scorsese, Lynch and Herzog who have also done classes.
