Deadpool 3
“Atlanta” and “Joker” actress Zazie Beetz, who portrayed Domino in “Deadpool 2,” will not be returning for the third one. Appearing at the Tribeca Film Festival premiere of her upcoming limited series “Full Circle,” the actress was asked by The Decider how the film is handling the no improvisation rule whilst filming.
She says: “Well, I’m actually not in Deadpool 3, so I don’t know what they’re doing [about improvisation]. I’m assuming they’re probably taking a pause… I’m excited to watch it.”
Close to You
Having wrapped filming on the fourth and final season of “The Umbrella Academy,” Elliot Page is set to star in the drama “Close to You” from BAFTA-winning writer-director Dominic Savage. Page and Savage co-wrote the film’s story, and both produce.
Page plays Sam, who has a chance encounter with an old friend (Hillary Baack) on his way home to a dreaded family reunion that forces him to confront long-buried memories. Filming recently wrapped in Canada. [Source: THR]
