Streaming Dates
“The Conjuring: Last Rites” hits digital October 7th; the Dylan O’Brien-led “Twinless” hits October 3rd; and the likes of “Spinal Tap II: The End Continues,” “Downton Abbey: The Grand Finale” and “Caught Stealing” arrive today.
On the SVOD front, “Honey Don’t” hits Peacock October 3rd, “Jurassic World: Rebirth” is coming to Peacock on October 30th; and “The Naked Gun” hits Paramount+ today.
Ballard
Jack Meade-Mullarkey (“Vikings,” “Warrior Nun”) will play a young version of Hieronymus ‘Harry’ Bosch in the second season of the “Bosch” spin-off “Ballard”. This marks the first time Amazon has brought in another performer to play the character long played by actor Titus Welliver.
The show’s second season will incorporate flashback sequences that explore the formative years of both Bosch and Renée Ballard (Maggie Q). [Source: CBR]

“Cross” star Aldis Hodge will join Jake Gyllenhaal, Dave Bautista and Leila George in the “Road House” sequel at Amazon MGM Studios. Ilya Naishuller is directing from a script by Will Beall/
Plot details for the sequel are being kept under wraps, but Gyllenhaal starred in the Doug Liman-directed 2024 reboot as an ex-UFC fighter who takes a job as a bouncer at a Florida Keys roadhouse. [Source: Deadline]
One Piece
Teasing the second story arc of the second season of the live-action “One Piece,” a new poster is out showing off Reverse Mountain, a towering summit at which a river flows up the mountain and where the North, South, East, and West Blues meet. Many have perished before reaching the Grand Line due to its treacherous currents and storms, but the Straw Hats brave the rough waters.
