Developer Crytek announced on Thursday that it will release the Crysis Remastered Trilogy on October 15th – this collection offering remasters of the single-player campaign of the main three games in the series.

For those who already own the first, the second and third remasters will launch individually on the same day. The title will release for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC via Epic Games Store. [Source: Crytek]

Kitbag
Jodie Comer has confirmed she’s scored the role of Josephine in Ridley Scott’s upcoming Napoleon Bonaparte movie “Kitbag” and will film it towards the new year.

Joaquin Phoenix leads the cast of the historical drama about the military leader and emperor. Comer most recently worked with Scott on “The Last Duel” opening later this year. [Source: Variety]

Christopher Abbott (“Catch-22”) will join Emma Stone, Willem Dafoe, Mark Ruffalo, and Ramy Youssef in Yorgos Lanthimos’ new film “Poor Things”. Filming is slated to begin this Fall.

Wicked
“In The Heights” filmmaker Jon M. Chu is reuniting with that film’s cinematographer Alice Brooks for the long in the works film adaptation of the stage musical “Wicked”. The musical focuses on the witches in the land of Oz, telling the untold backstory of the Wicked Witch of the West. [Source: Slashfilm]

Diary of a Wimpy Kid
The Disney+ service has released a teaser poster for the new “Diary of a Wimpy Kid” animated feature based on the best-selling book series by author Jeff Kinney.

The story follows a middle-school scrawny boy with an unlimited ambition to be famous when he’s older and an overactive imagination. The new film will launch on December 3rd.
