Color Out of Space
Another beautiful photo is out from filmmaker Richard Stanley’s highly anticipated film adaptation of H.P. Lovecraft’s “Color Out of Space” starring Nicolas Cage and Joely Richardson. The film will have its world premiere next month at the 2019 Toronto International Film Festival.

The story follows a family who moves to a remote farmstead in rural New England to escape the hustle of the 21st century. When a meteorite crashes into their front yard, it seems to melt into the earth and infect both the land and the properties of space-time with a strange, otherworldly color. To their horror, the Gardner family discover that this alien force is gradually mutating every life form that it touches… including them. [Source: Bloody Disgusting]

Batwoman
Sam Littlefield (“Mother’s Little Helpers”) has scored a recurring role as Mouse in The CW’s upcoming “Batwoman” series. Littlefield’s character is dubbed a ‘dynamic figure’ working for Alice and the Wonderland Gang. Rachel Skarsten plays the villain Alice, a mentally unstable threat to city and a mysterious figure with a complicated past. “Batwoman” premieres October 6th. [Source: Deadline]

Philly Reign
Mary J. Blige is attached to executive produce the USA Network drama series “Philly Reign” inspired by the life of Thelma Wright – a suburban housewife turned drug queenpin after the death of Wright’s husband left her two choices: let her family starve or take over the family business. With equal parts grit and grace, she forces her way to the top of the international drug game to build one of the largest cocaine and heroin operations of the 1980s. JaNeika and JaSheika James will write and both will executive produce with Blige. [Source: Variety]

Other People’s Houses
Sarah Michelle Gellar and “Ringer” creators Eric Charmelo and Nicole Snyder are teaming to reunite for the dramedy series “Other People’s Houses” which FOX has handed out a script commitment for. Charmelo and Snyder will write and executive produce, while Neil Meron, Sarah Michelle Gellar and Mark Nicholson are also attached as executive producers.

Based on the book by Abbi Waxman, the series follows nine people living in the quiet, well-off Larchmont Village neighborhood of Los Angeles. Though the lens of social media, the show’s characters navigate their way through emotional ups and downs, as they try to figure out their lives. Toy Story 4
Walt Disney Home Entertainment has announced an October 1st Digital HD release and an October 8th 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray and DVD release for the fourth film in the “Toy Story” franchise. The film opened this past summer to a highly impressive 98% on Rotten Tomatoes and grossed $1.017 billion at the worldwide box-office.
