Kay Cannon’s “Cinderella” film starring Camila Cabello, Idina Menzel, and Billy Porter, will launch exclusively around the world Amazon Prime Video in September – but the streamer isn’t being more specific on the date than that. A first look photo is also out which you can see above.
Sonic the Hedgehog 2
Filmmaker Jeff Fowler has confirmed that production on Paramount Pictures’ “Sonic the Hedgehog 2” has officially wrapped in Vancouver after almost two months of filming.
All the key cast including Ben Schwartz, James Marsden, Jim Carrey, Tika Sumpter, Adam Pally and Natasha Rothwell return in the new film which also features fan-favorite characters Miles ‘Tails’ Prower and Knuckles the Echidna. The movie is scheduled for an April 8th 2022 release. [Source: Twitter]

Focus Features has officially set a September 10th release date for Paul Schrader’s revenge thriller “The Card Counter” starring Oscar Isaac, Willem Dafoe and Tye Sheridan. The dark drama famously was days away from completion when the pandemic shut it down – additional filming finally taking place months later.
Ghostrunner 2
First-person cyberpunk action parkour game “Ghostrunner” is getting both a full sequel and an upgraded version of the original for Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5 says publisher 505 Games.
The original game follows an amnesiac hero in a quest to discover the past and find out which of the many voices in his head are lying to him. Developer One More Level is back on board to develop the sequel. [Source: PC Invasion]
Space Jam: A New Legacy
The official Twitter account for “Space Jam: A New Legacy” has released a series of new character posters showcasing the members of this film’s ‘Goon Squad’ – the evil basketball players LeBron James and the Looney Tunes team must face.
The baddies include – Arachnneka, The Brow, Wet-Fire, White Mamba, and Chronos. The “Space Jam” sequel arrives in theaters and on HBO Max on July 16th where it will be available for a limited time.
