Aardman

Chicken Run: Dawn of the Nugget
Oscar and BAFTA-winning studio Aardman’s highly anticipated sequel “Chicken Run: Dawn of the Nugget” will have its world premiere at the 67th BFI London Film Festival on October 14th – one day ahead of its global Netflix debut.

Thandiwe Newton, Zachary Levi, Bella Ramsey, Imelda Staunton and more star in the film in which Ginger has finally found her dream – a peaceful island sanctuary for the whole flock, far from the dangers of the human world.

When she and Rocky hatch a little girl called Molly, Ginger’s happy ending seems complete. But back on the mainland the whole of chicken-kind faces a new and terrible threat. [Source: BFI]

Alien
In a recent interview with Upoxx to promote “Gran Tourismo,” filmmaker Neill Blomkamp shot down any talk about his almost-filmed “Aliens” sequel with the blunt quote: “It’s hard to define how little I care about what happens with ‘Alien’.”

The comment came at the end of a junket interview that abruptly sees Blomkamp shifting to a dismissive, even borderline hostile tone when asked any further questions. Check out the interview for yourself at Upoxx.

Twilight
Timed with the 15th anniversary of the franchise, Lionsgate will release a special “Twilight” collection consisting of all five films for Blu-ray, DVD, and Digital on October 17th. The set will include a ton of bonus content like documentaries and deleted scenes, interchangeable cover art and more. [Source: Lionsgate]

Fallout
Amazon Prime Video has released a poster for its upcoming TV series based on the “Fallout” games. The artwork coincided with a showing of a “Fallout” trailer at Gamescom that won’t be posted online. The series itself airs next year on the service.
