Mike Colter has confirmed that he has had talks about returning as Luke Cage, saying recently on Shawn Stockman’s On That Note: “I’ve had conversations and I’ll leave it at that… Daredevil’s back. Jessica’s back. We’re in a better position to see this come into fruition faster than we think”.
Vegas: A Love Story
Filming has begun on Ramin Bahrani‘s new romantic thriller “Vegas: A Love Story” on location in Las Vegas. Maika Monroe, Brandon Sklenar, Paul Dano, Michael Shannon and Judy Greer star.
The film follows the unexpected romance between a gifted graphic designer struggling for work and a single father and welder trying to rebuild his life. Wary in-laws and a self-destructive ex also figure into things. [Source: The Playlist]
Untitled Judd Apatow Comedy
Madelyn Cline (“Outer Banks”) and Cristin Milioti (“The Penguin”) have been cast in Judd Apatow’s currently untitled new film that also stars Glen Powell. The story follows a country-western star whose career is in a free-fall and is being co-written by Apatow and Powell. Apatow, Powell and Dan Cohen are producing the film which will open in cinemas on February 5th 2027. [Source: THR]
Hamnet
If you need an emotional pick-me-up after the ending of Chloe Zhao’s “Hamnet,” this is it. Cast and crew members, from Paul Mescal and Jessie Buckley to Zhao herself, can be seen in a just-posted video on the official “Hamnet” social media accounts.
The clip sees them, and a whole bunch of extras, dancing to Rihanna’s “We Found Love” and seemingly having a whale of a time, making for a joyous mood booster following the filming of such heavy emotional sequences.
