The Ben Affleck-directed movie “Air,” about Nike signing Michael Jordan and creating the Air Jordan line, has locked down its streaming release date with the film to hit Amazon Prime on May 12th. Stephen Curry: Underrated
Apple Original Films and A24 have announced a Friday, July 21st release date for “Stephen Curry: Underrated,” a documentary feature about Curry’s rise from a small town Division I college to a four-time NBA champion.
Emmy Award-winner Peter Nicks directs this blend of archival footage and on-camera interviews showing how Curry revolutionized the sport’s strategy. [Source: Apple]
Horizon: Forbidden West – Burning Shores
Sony PlayStation have premiered the launch trailer for “Horizon: Forbidden West – Burning Shores” – the upcoming DLC for its “Horizon: Zero Dawn” sequel.
Whilst the game was released on both PS4 & PS5, the expansion will be exclusive to PS5 and unfolds in a future Los Angeles that has been almost entirely submerged underwater – leaving it as a collection of volcanic islands. The DLC is released April 19th.
The Little Mermaid
Disney has released a new featurette for its live-action “The Little Mermaid” film with star Halle Bailey, composer Alan Menken and more talking about their insights into the characters and film.
The clip also explores the impact the original 1989 animated movie had on audiences everywhere. Rob Marshall directs the new film which also stars Awkwafina, Javier Bardem and Melissa McCarthy. The film opens May 26th.
