Arthur The King
The Mark Wahlberg-led and Baltasar Kormakur-directed dog adventure film “Arthur The King” has moved from Paramount Players to Lionsgate for domestic release. Michael Brandt is writing the true story is based on the 2017 novel by Mikael Lindnord about the captain of a Swedish adventure racing team.

Lindnord (played by Wahlberg) met and befriended a wounded stray dog during a 400-mile race through the Ecuadoran jungle where they crossed rivers and battled illness and injury. Filming aims to begin in Puerto Rico this Fall. Casting for the dog and other leads is underway. [Source: Deadline]
