Netflix has officially announced that Judge Reinhold, John Ashton, Paul Reiser and Bronson Pinchot are set to officially join the currently in production “Beverly Hills Cop: Axel Foley” movie for the streamer.
Reinhold and Ashton will reprise their roles of sidekick cops Detective Billy Rosewood and Sgt. Taggart alongside Eddie Murphy’s Axel Foley in the project. Reiser starred as Foley’s Detroit cop partner Jeffrey Friedman and Pinchot was a sassy art gallery salesman in the earlier films.
The announcement was expected following Reinhold and Ashton being photographed on the California set weeks ago, whilst Reiser had been spotted in reports.
Mark Molloy is directing off a script by Will Beall. Jerry Bruckheimer and Chad Oman are producing. The first three movies grossed a combined $616.2 million worldwide.
