NBC has announced the premiere date for its Fall series, including its highly anticipated sequel to the iconic early 1990s TV series “Quantum Leap” which will launch on September 19th.
The new take centers on Dr. Ben Seong (Raymond Lee), a world-renowned physicist and man of faith. Thirty years after Dr. Sam Beckett (Scott Bakula) stepped into the Quantum Leap accelerator and vanished, a new team has been assembled to restart the project in the hopes of understanding the mysteries behind the machine and the man who created it.
Caitlin Bassett, Nanrisa Lee, Mason Alexander Park, and Ernie Hudson co-star. It is one of two new series coming to the broadcaster this Fall, the other being sitcom “Lopez vs. Lopez” which will premiere on November 4th alongside the new season of “Young Rock”.
The rest of the network’s line-up returns the week of Monday September 19th, the exception being “La Brea” which comes back a week later on September 27th.
