Florence Pugh, Shia LaBeouf and Chris Pine have all joined the cast of the psychological thriller “Don’t Worry Darling” which “Booksmart” helmer Olivia Wilde is directing and producing for New Line and Vertigo Entertainment.
The story is set in an isolated, utopian community in the 1950s California desert and centers on a housewife who uncovers a disturbing truth about her seemingly perfect life.
Pugh will play the housewife. Wilde also has a role in the film which will be written and produced by Katie Silberman, while Roy Lee and Miri Moon are also producing.
No shooting schedule is set, but the aim is to begin filming as soon as coronavirus lockdown restrictions lift and it’s safe to do so.
