PS5 Reveal Delayed In Wake Of Protests

One of most anticipated entertainment related events of this month, the first reveal of games for the upcoming PlayStation 5 console, has been delayed.

Originally scheduled for this Thursday, Sony has now understandably postponed the event in the wake of the #BlackLivesMatter protests taking place across the globe. No new date has yet been announced.

Sony explains in an official posting saying: “While we understand gamers worldwide are excited to see PS5 games, we do not feel that right now is a time for celebration and for now, we want to stand back and allow more important voices to be heard.”

The PlayStation’s next big game release is “The Last of Us Part II” which is currently slated for a June 19th release.
