A couple of key TV promo trailers are out today. First comes the promo for the second season of “Ramy,” Hulu’s comedy based on the life of comedian Ramy Youssef who stars. The Emmy-winning series sees Oscar-winning actor Mahershala Ali joining the cast in a key supporting role for the ten new episodes which begin on May 29th.
Next, Netflix has dropped the full trailer for the fourth and final season of teen suicide drama “13 Reasons Why”. As Liberty High School’s Senior Class prepares for graduation, they have to keep a dangerous secret buried and face heartbreaking choices that could impact their futures forever. The new episodes arrive June 5th.
Third comes CBS’ first teaser for Chuck Lorre’s new sitcom “B Positive” featuring a first look at Emmy nominee Thomas Middleditch as Drew, divorced dad in need of a kidney donor, and in his moment of desperation he meets Gina, a tough woman from his past who offers to donate her kidney, and the two begin to form an unlikely bond that will change both of their lives. That show premieres this Fall.
Finally there’s a sneak peek clip from the upcoming seventh and final season of “Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD” which returns May 27th. Coulson and the Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. are thrust backward in time and stranded in 1931 New York City. With the all-new Zephyr set to time-jump at any moment, the team must hurry to find out exactly what happened.
