Adult Swim have announced that the five remaining episodes of the first season of “Samurai Jack” creator Genndy Tartakovsky’s “Primal” are coming to the broadcaster on October 4th.
In addition, the series has also been renewed for a second season for an additional ten episodes. The series follows a caveman at the dawn of evolution as he forms an unlikely friendship with an almost extinct dinosaur.
That’s not the only renewal news today as Quibi has officially renewed Thomas Lennon’s “Reno 911!” revival series for a second season. The first season finale will be available for streaming on Monday, September 7th.
Series co-creators Lennon, Ben Garant and Kenney-Silver said in a joint statement: “We are thrilled about the pickup, but we’re even more thrilled about getting to leave our living rooms for the first time in five months.”
