“Guardians of the Galaxy” leading man Chris Pratt very briefly spoke on Friday about the rumors of him taking over the role of Indiana Jones in a proposed reboot.
Appearing at a university roast, Pratt wouldn’t admit to anything other than telling ComicBook.com that such a possible job is an “awesome opportunity”.
One person who would be happy to help him is “Kingsman: The Secret Service,” “Kick Ass” and “X-Men: First Class” director Matthew Vaughn. Speaking with the same outlet, Vaughn was asked what major film franchises he might be interested in taking were they come his way:
“If someone offered me Star Wars or Indiana Jones I would be very interested. When you’re the director, you just don’t know. Something clicks and you go, ‘Yup, I wanna go make that story,’ so never say, ‘never,’ to anything.
The British helmer serves as a producer on the upcoming “Fantastic Four” reboot and the “Eddie the Eagle” biopic.
