Actor Chris Pratt has seemingly confirmed a second season of Amazon’s “The Terminal List” is on the way.
A few weeks back it was reported Pratt had begun negotiations with Amazon for a follow-up season. Yesterday, on an installment of the Ironclad podcast Danger Close, Pratt was asked about the potential of another season. He responded:
“To the rabid fans of The Terminal List out there, you have nothing to worry about. We love you and appreciate your support. It’s our life’s mission to make sure you can come back to the well. We are working away.”
Author Jack Carr, who wrote the books and hosts the podcast, then added: “There may be some cool stuff on the horizon being discussed.” Carr has previously suggested his book “True Believer” would serve as source material for a second run.
Pratt stars in the series as Lt. Cmdr. James Reece – a Navy SEAL whose entire platoon is ambushed during a high-stakes covert mission. Constance Wu, Taylor Kitsch, Riley Keough, Jai Courtney, JD Pardo and Jeanne Tripplehorn co-starred.
The eight-episode first season launched July 1st, and though it received mixed reviews, but was a success in terms of viewership – rising to No.2 on the list of America’s most streamed shows in its first full week of viewing where it amassed 1.6 billion minutes viewed.
Amazon Prime has yet to announce a renewal.
