Starz has premiered the official trailer for the first “Power” spinoff series which is titled “Power Book II: Ghost” and debuts on September 6th.
Set shortly after the events of the main series, Cliff ‘Method Man’ Smith plays an ethically challenged attorney named Davis McLean who gets unwilling dragged into the world of drugs by Tariq St. Patrick (Michael Rainey Jr.) now on his own for the first time in his life. Tariq soon becomes intertwined with a cutthroat family.
Created by original showrunner Courtney A. Kemp, the cast includes Monet Stewart Tejada, Naturi Naughton, Mary J. Blige, Shane Johnson, Gani Paolo, Quincy Tyler Bernstine, Daniel Bellomy, Paige Hurd and Melanie Liburd. Kemp acts as creator, showrunner and executive producer with Curtis ’50 Cent’ Jackson also executive producing.
