A photo of a t-shirt given to crew members on Taika Waititi’s “Thor: Love and Thunder” appears to have revealed a sketch showing off a first look at Natalie Portman’s Jane Foster suited up as The Mighty Thor.
To date, no shots of Portman in costume have been revealed, even as the film wrapped weeks ago after several months of shooting in Sydney, Australia.
The sketch seen on the art seems very much like her comic book counterpart as she holds Mjolnir while Chris Hemsworth’s Thor stands with his Stormbreaker weapon. The ruler of New Asgard, Valkyrie, is alongside them also in slightly revised gear. Marvel Studios is planning to release that film next May.
The studio also recently began shooting the “Captain Marvel” sequel “The Marvels” and it has been reported today that South Korean actor Park Seo-joon (“Chronicles of Evil,” “The Divine Fury,” “Midnight Runners”) has joined the cast in an undisclosed role. That film is due for release November 2022.
