Natalie Portman is negotiating to star in and TriStar Pictures is in early talks to finance and distribute the drama “Bronco Belle”.
Portman would play a waitress and aspiring champion steer rider named Raylene Jackson. With the help of an ornery veteran mentor, she infiltrates the male-dominated rodeo circuit.
Overmatched by the beasts she has to ride, she pursues her dreams anyway – no matter the cost.
Khurram Longi penned the script, Andrew Lazar is producing and Anna Rose Holmer is in discussions to direct with filming to begin next year.
