PlayStation hosted the first State of Play for 2022 yesterday with multiple trailers shown off for games coming either exclusively to the platform or to PC as well.
The event opened with a brand-new dinosaur battling multiplayer PvE game from Capcom titled “Exoprimal” coming next year. There’s also the reveal of the long-rumoured ‘Ascension’ DLC for “Returnal” which gets campaign co-op and hits on March 22nd,.
Next comes “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Cowabunga Collection” – a brand-new collection of thirteen classic Turtles titles from across arcades, NES, SNES, SEGA Mega Drive and the Game Boy.
Next is a new gameplay trailer for the recently delayed “Forspoken” which will now arrive October 22nd, a trailer for the rather beautiful samurai action game “Trek to Yomi,” a gameplay demo for next week’s “Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origins,” and a launch trailer for the week after’s “Ghostwire Tokyo”.
Next is two Square Enix titles – the strategy RPG “The Diofield Chronicles” and the third-person action game “Valkyrie Elysium”. Finally there’s also and trailers for the fast-paced multiplayer “Gundam Evolution,” the kaiju brawler “Gigabash,” and the newly-remastered “JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure All Star Battle R”.
