Peacock has released the trailer for its recently acquired six-part mystery limited series “Departure” starring “The Good Wife” breakout Archie Panjabi and veteran actor Christopher Plummer.
When passenger plane Flight 716 shockingly vanishes in mid-air, brilliant investigator Kendra Malley (Panjabi), alongside her mentor Howard Lawson (Plummer) are brought on to lead the investigation.
Things becomes more complicated when a survivor is rescued from the ocean and quickly becomes a terrorism suspect. As our investigators battle forces that threaten to undermine their work, Kendra must find the truth and stop it from happening again.
Kris Holden-Reid, Rebecca Liddiard, Tamara Duarte, Mark Rendall, Peter Mensah and Sasha Roiz co-star in the series created by Vince Shiao (“Ransom,” “Aftermath”) and which aired in the UK last year. On Peacock it premieres September 17th.
