Netflix has released two new photos from the upcoming fifth season of the acclaimed drama series “The Crown”.
The new shots offer us our first look at the series’ newest Prince Charles and Princess Diana with Dominic West and Elizabeth Debicki respectively taking over the roles from Josh O’Connor and Emma Corrin.
Imelda Staunton leads the new cast as Queen Elizabeth II alongside Lesley Manville as Princess Margaret, Jonathan Pryce as Prince Philip, and Jonny Lee Miller as John Major. They are expected to return for the sixth and final installment.
The series is also currently nominated for eleven major awards at the upcoming 2021 Emmy Awards.
