USA Today has posted the first photos of Jeremy Renner in Michael Cuesta’s true story dramatic thriller “Kill the Messenger”.
Renner plays news reporter Gary Webb, whose life was ruined when he linked the CIA to a scheme to arm Contra rebels in Nicaragua and import cocaine into California.
Michael Cuesta directs from a script penned by Peter Landesman. Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Rosemarie DeWitt, Ray Liotta, Tim Blake Nelson, Barry Pepper, Oliver Platt, Michael Sheen and Michael K. Williams co-star.
Focus Features will release the film in cinemas next year.
