In the wake of yesterday’s photos, another new shot is out of Alicia Vikander in the “Tomb Raider” film reboot – in this one the actress looking a little more battle scarred and ready for action as Lara Croft.
Set seven years after the disappearance of her father, a now 21-year-old Lara has is inspired to investigate and travels to his last-known location: a tomb on an island somewhere off the coast of Japan.
Armed with only her sharp mind, blind faith and inherently stubborn spirit – she must learn to push herself beyond her limits as she journeys into the unknown.
Dominic West, Daniel Wu and Walton Goggins also star in the Roar Uthaug-helmed film from a script by Geneva Robertson-Dworet. “Tomb Raider” is scheduled to open March 16th 2018.
