In the feel good story of the weekend, two of the key stars of “Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom” reunited at Disney’s D23 Showcase where both happened to be on stage.
Actor Key Huy Quan posted the photo below, which sees him and Harrison Ford reuniting after the pair played Short Round and Indiana Jones, respectively in the 1985 action feature.
Quan affectionately captioned the image: “I love you, Indy. Indiana Jones and Short Round reunited after 38 years.”
Quan had big success earlier this year in “Everything, Everywhere, All at Once” and appeared at the presentation where it was announced he had been cast in the second season of “Loki” and would lead the Disney+ series “American Born Chinese”.
Ford, meanwhile, was there to show off the first “Indiana Jones 5” trailer – with the actor getting emotional during the big reveal. That film opens on June 30th 2023.
