Jared Leto was notably absent from the cast photo taken during the table reading of David Ayer’s “Suicide Squad” script this week. Today, David Ayer followed up that posting with a shot of Leto (with his dyed green hair) in a shot reminiscent of the cover for Alan Moore’s iconic “The Killing Joke” comic.

Yesterday’s cast photo also confirmed the inclusion of several actors not previously announced including Adam Beach (“Windtalkers”), Ike Barinholtz (“The Mindy Project”) and Jim Parrack (“True Blood”).
A few hours after it was released, El Mayimbe posted a report which suggested what roles they will take on – Beach is Ravan, Barinholtz is Dr. Hugo Strange, and Parrack is Deathstroke. Joe Manganiello, who was rumored to be playing Deathstroke before, is said to not be involved.
