To celebrate Batman Day, “Justice League” director Zack Snyder has revealed a first look at J.K. Simmons as Commissioner Gordon alongside the Bat-Signal in the upcoming “Justice League” film. At the same time he’s posted another photo, this time of himself with the signal.
Simmons’ role is said to be relatively small in the film, but he’s expected to be back for Ben Affleck’s “The Batman” film in a much bigger capacity, and could appear in other DCEU projects in the near future.
Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill and Gal Gadot will be reprising their roles as the DC Trinity, Batman, Superman, and Wonder Woman in “Justice League” and are joined by Jason Mamoa as Aquaman, Ray Fisher as Cyborg, and Ezra Miller as The Flash. The film opens November 10th 2017.
