The premiere episode of Peacock’s comedy thriller series “The Resort” is set to score an NBC primetime airing this coming Wednesday, August 24th.
The premiere on the network aims to introduce the series to new fans who haven’t had a chance to try the mystery series yet, which premiered with three episodes on July 28th and wraps its eight-episode first season next Thursday.
The broadcast hour will also include a substantial teaser of the series’ second episode and urge viewers to catch up on the rest of the series on Peacock ahead of the September 1st finale.
The project hails from “Palm Springs” writer Andy Siara and “Mr. Robot” creator Sam Esmail and deals with a couple who finds themselves embroiled in one of the Yucatan’s most bizarre unsolved mysteries that took place 15 years prior. William Jackson Harper, Cristin Milioti, Nick Offerman, Skyler Gisondo and Luis Gerardo Mendez star.
