Peacock has premiered the first trailer for its limited true crime drama series “A Friend of the Family,” which arrives on October 6th with three episodes at launch and new episodes streaming weekly.
The series is inspired by the true story of the Broberg family, whose daughter Jan was kidnapped multiple times over a few years by a charismatic, obsessed family ‘friend’.
Anna Paquin, Jake Lacy, Colin Hanks, Lio Tipton, Mckenna Grace and Hendrix Yancey star. The series hails from showrunner/EP/writer Nick Antosca and executive producers Alex Hedlund and Eliza Hittman, who also directs.
