Peacock announced a slate of premiere dates for its scripted originals for the rest of the year including the “Pitch Perfect” spin-off, the TV series continuation of “The Best Man” and the “Vampire Academy” series adaptation.
July
“Line of Duty” creator Jed Mercurio’s six-part drama thriller “Trigger Point” kicks things off on July 8th followed by the NBC soap spin-off “Days of Our Lives: Beyond Salem” on July 11th.
The comedic thriller series “The Resort,” starring William Jackson Harper and Cristin Milioti, will hit July 28th and a trailer for that series was released which you can see at the bottom of this article.
August
BAFTA winner Peter Kominsky’s new series “The Undeclared War” kicks off on August 18th. Set in the run-up to a UK general election in 2024, it tracks a team of analysts combating cyberattacks. Simon Pegg and Maisie Richardson-Sellers star.
An adaptation of Dolly Alderton’s bestselling memoir “Everything I Know About Love” then arrives a week later on August 25th.
September
On September 8th, “Lost” actor Matthew Fox returns to television in “Last Light” based on Alex Scarrow’s best-selling novel about a conspiracy involving oil supplies.
On September 15th comes “Vampire Academy” based on the young adult supernatural book series. Then DreamWorks Animation’s “Dragons Rescue Riders: Heroes of the Sky” fourth season premieres on September 29th.
October
Nick Antosca’s true-crime limited series “A Friend of the Family” begins October 6th and deals with a man’s multiple abductions of a family’s daughter. Anna Paquin, Jake Lacy, Colin Hanks and Mckenna Grace star. A second season of “One of Us Is Lying” premieres two weeks later on October 20th.
November
The second season of the British thriller series “The Capture” begins November 3rd. A week later comes David E. Kelley’s new crime drama “The Missing” on November 10th.
Then on November 23rd is the spin-off series “Pitch Perfect: Bumper in Berlin” starring Adam Devine and Flula Borg. The Colin Donnell-led crime thriller “Irreverant” arrives on November 30th.
December
“The Best Man: The Final Chapters” premieres on December 22nd and reunites the cast of the hit films including Morris Chestnut, Taye Diggs, Regina Hall and Terrence Howard.
