Peacock Renews “A.P. Bio” For Fourth Season

Former NBC comedy series “A.P. Bio,” which was recently revived for an eight-episode third season on the company’s streaming service Peacock, has become the first original scripted series to score a renewal order from that service.

The show will return for a fourth season on the ad-supported platform for another eight episodes to air in 2021. Glenn Howerton stars as a disgraced scholar turned high school AP biology teacher in the series which is produced in-house at Universal Television.

Peacock’s other big launch title, “Brave New World,” was cancelled after one season. The streamer also has the “Saved by the Bell” and “Punky Brewster” revivals, “Bel-Air,” “MacGruber,” “Dr. Death,” “Rutherford Falls” and “Girls5Eva” on the way.
