Robert Pattinson and Colin Farrell will head to Glasgow next month to do reshoots for Matt Reeves’ “The Batman” from Warner Bros. Pictures.
The Daily Record reports that filming will kick off in Scotland again in mid-July on what is expected to be mainly reshoots and some stunt scenes. The two actors, who play Bruce Wayne/Batman and Oswald Cobblepot/The Penguin in the film, are the only names mentioned as being expected back on set.
The project kicked off filming in London in January and then moved to Scotland to shoot some scenes around the Glasgow Necropolis in mid-February last year. Shortly after production was brought to a halt because of the COVID-19 pandemic shutdowns.
Filming began again in September but shut down almost immediately when Pattinson was widely thought to have caught coronavirus. It then began again shortly after and continued on-and-off until officially wrapping mid-March this year.
This shoot in that city will reportedly be filmed at the Necropolis cemetery, Merchant City, and York. Production is scheduled to end by the end of July with the film on track for a March 4th 2022 release.
