Nickelodeon Animation has handed out an early second-season renewal for the “SpongeBob SquarePants” spin-off series “The Patrick Star Show”.
The cabler has ordered a 26-episode second season right as the current first season of 26-episodes is still only halfway through airing.
The series follows a younger Patrick Star (Bill Fagerbakke) living at home with his family where he hosts his own variety show for the neighbourhood from his television-turned-bedroom.
This joins the other Spongebob spin-off, the CG-animated prequel series “Kamp Koral: SpongeBob’s Under Years,” which has also has been renewed for a second season.
