As part of yesterday’s Investor Day presentation, Paramount announced that a new series of films in the works with each focused on the villains of the “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” franchise.
These movies, all unrelated to either the upcoming Colin Jost-penned live-action film, or Seth Rogen’s upcoming CG-animated series reboot for Nickelodeon, will premiere exclusively on Paramount+ starting in 2023.
TMNT has a large library of villains who can star in their own films with the likes of Shredder, Krang, Bebop and Rocksteady being the most famous.
