Mike Judge’s iconic 1990s animated comedy “Beavis and Butt-Head” was heavily built around music videos that the two teens would watch and comment on.

When the series was in reruns and streaming though, those music video segments were often removed due to the kind of licensing issues that plagues legacy content. Those issues can often result in forgettable temp track music being added to key scenes which changes the entire feel of a show or episode. In other cases, like here, whole scenes were cut out.

Now, Consequence is reporting that newly remastered versions of all 200-plus episodes of the series are coming to the Paramount+. service. In addition, the streamer will also reinstate all the music video segments that have been lost over the years.

Paramount reportedly confirmed the news to the outlet ahead of the show’s return which will be timed with the exclusive streaming release of the “Beavis and Butt-Head Do the Universe” movie launching on June 23rd.

Judge is set to bring back the show itself for two new seasons to air on the streamer at a later date.
